Our Approach
Our approach is built on preparation, precision, and continuous improvement. We believe that exceptional moving begins long before the truck arrives. Every move is carefully planned, every piece of furniture is professionally wrapped, and every member of our team is trained to handle each item with the same level of care and attention they would expect for their own belongings. Floors, walls, staircases, door frames, and elevators are protected because we understand that our responsibility extends beyond the furniture itself—we are also protecting your property.
Equally important is the experience of our clients. Moving can be one of life's most stressful events, which is why we place great emphasis on clear communication, punctuality, professionalism, and respect. We strive to reduce uncertainty, eliminate unnecessary stress, and provide confidence throughout every stage of the relocation. Our objective is not simply to complete a move efficiently, but to create an experience in which our clients feel supported, informed, and confident that their belongings are in capable hands.

Our fixed-price service is designed to account for many of the common challenges that can arise during a move, including weather conditions, elevator damages, delays due to real estate transactions, unexpected traffic, longer walking distances caused by limited parking, furniture disassembly and reassembly, crew breaks, and other routine operational factors. Our objective is to complete your move professionally without unexpected surprises whenever possible.
Once your fixed price is agreed upon, you can move with confidence knowing your final bill will not exceed the quoted price for the agreed scope of work, even if common moving-day challenges arise.
About Us
My name is DIMITRI, and moving is more than just my profession—it has become my passion.
For more than 11 years, I have dedicated myself to mastering the art of professional moving. My journey began in New York in 2015, where I had the opportunity to learn from an experienced moving company that valued responsibility, precision, teamwork, and exceptional customer service. Those early years taught me that a great move is never just about transporting furniture; it is about earning people's trust during one of the most important moments in their lives.
Life then took an unexpected turn. The war in my home country forced me to leave everything behind and start over in Canada. Before moving, I worked in engineering, where I developed a strong foundation in planning, problem-solving, and attention to details. Rebuilding a career in a new country was not easy, and returning to the moving industry became both an opportunity and a new beginning.
Today, our company combines the discipline of construction engineering, the principles of corporate psychology, and years of practical moving experience to deliver a higher standard of service. We believe every successful move depends on careful planning, efficient teamwork, clear communication, and genuine respect for our clients and their homes.
Our mission is simple: to protect your belongings, safeguard your property, and make every move as smooth and stress-free as possible. Every job is another opportunity to improve, learn, and continue building the moving company we have always envisioned—one that people trust, recommend, and remember.
Thank you for considering us. We look forward to helping you start your next chapter with confidence.

We moved in January and I promised to give our movers a stellar review - life got crazy but HERE I AM making the review 6 months later.
Dimitri, Philipe and Ginoy moved us from Toronto to Hamilton and the day went incredibly smooth. Literally nothing went wrong, they required no help or direction - everything went perfectly. Everything was done as fast is it possibly could've been done, in about 6 hours. They were clean, quick, respectful. Would recommend to anybody in a heartbeat, total professionals.

George and his crew Philip and Dimitri were awesome to work with, friendly, efficient, and hardworking. They dealt with a hot day and unexpected rainstorm and did so in good humour. They moved quickly (literally) and came in way under the projected timeline + quote - we were happy to tip them more for their efforts! If ever need movers again, we will call on these guys for sure. Thank you, George + Philip + Dimitri!

I had a chance of using their service earlier this year and 2 staffs named Dimitri and Favzan were the stars.
I was pretty stressed about the move to my new apartment which I tried not to think about and Dimitri and Favzan showed up and handled everything very smoothly and meticulously (wrapping all the furnitures carefully, disassembling my bed frame, etc..)
It was actually a rainy day too so with their excellent help, I could successfully moved everything to the new place without any issues.

An incredible 6.5 hour move completed by Dimitri, Far, and Alan! The three were early to arrive, organized, kind, courteous, patient and so careful with our furniture. Everything was expertly wrapped, packed, and safely arrived in our new home. I've never seen such a strong, hard working, detail-oriented and efficient team! Literally incomparable to other moving companies we've tried in the past. We bought food and drinks for the team, but they hardly took a moment to rest and eat! Thank you to Ken for booking our move - you couldn't have given us a better group! Highly recommend. My family and I will definitely be looking to Toronto Unique Moving for all our future moving needs. I hope Dimitri, Farzan, and Alan will be there when it happens! :)

My experience was fantastic in basically every way possible, and the two movers that helped me, Dimitri and Miguel, really went above and beyond to provide high-quality service.
From the get-go, the process of getting a quote and listing the inventory of things to be moved online was really intuitive and user-friendly, any questions and back-and-forth were handled promptly, and the movers were communicative before, during, and after the move.
Everything I hadn't packed was packed safely and thoughtfully, and they even managed to get a few pieces I thought I'd have to leave behind because they were difficult to dismantle and move, such as a patio table on my balcony.
Once they were at the move-in location, they dropped everything off gently and carefully. They worked super fast and were accurate to the quote they gave me, which was very reasonable (~750 dollars for a ~4-5 hour move, before tax and a very well-deserved tip).
After the move, I mistakenly thought they had forgotten something (which I ended up later finding) and called them about it -- they had their dispatch ask their movers to check the trucks, and they had an answer for me about it within an hour. I was really impressed by how quickly and attentively they helped me, even though the move was already over.
